Mark’s Biography

Mark is a forward who played underage football with Home Farm before joining Dublin City in 2001. In 2003 Mark joined UCD but he spent just one season at Belfield, making 21 league appearances under manager Paul Doolin. In 2004 Mark followed Doolin to Drogheda United where he made 51 league appearances over his two seasons at the club. He was also part of the team that lifted the 2005 FAI Cup when the Drogs beat Cork City 2-0 at Lansdowne Road.

Mark was released by Drogheda at the end of the 2005 season and re-joined Dublin City at the start of 2006, but the Vikings folded in July of that year. Shortly after this he joined St Patrick's Athletic but he was at Richmond Park for just one year in which he struggled to win a first team place. In July 2007 he left Pats to sign for Shelbourne.

Mark's Shels debut came on 6 July in a 1-0 win over Wexford Youths and he scored twice in 17 appearances over the remainder of the 2007 season. But he was released by the Reds at the end of that season.

By 2012 Mark was playing as a full back at LSL side Bluebell United as they qualified for the 2013 FAI Cup.
