Dean’s Biography

Dean made his league debut for Bray Wanderers on the final day of the 2008 season in a 2-0 defeat away to Sligo Rovers. He did not appear for the club in 2009 but became a regular during the 2010 season, making 20 league appearances and scoring once. In 2011 Dean cemented his place in the Bray team, making 28 league and cup appearances and scoring three times.

Dean remained a key part of Bray's starting eleven making a further 58 league appearances over the 2012 and 2013 seasons and when Alan Mathews took over the managerial reins from Pat Devlin in 2014 he was once again central to Bray's match day squad, starting in all 33 of the club's Premier Division games that year. Dean took a break from league football in 2015, which extended through the 2016 season. But in January 2017 Dean rejoined the league when he signed for Alan Mathews at Longford Town. Dean went on to make 35 appearances, scoring 2 goals, during the Town's 5th placed First Division campaign in 2017.

Dean played for Bishop Auckland (UK) 2015/2016 and Houston Hurricanes (USA) 2016 before signing for Longford.

Dean re-signed for Longford ahead of the 2018 season. Dean re-signed with Longford Town for the 2019 season. In December 2020, Dean re-signed for Longford Town ahead of their first season back in the Premier Division in 2021.
