Austin’s Biography
Austin was a fringe member of Drogheda United's squad during the 2009 season, appearing once as a late substitute in a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Derry City on 18th September.
He went on to play with Balbriggan based side Glebe North during the 2011 FAI Cup and became a key member of their Leinster Senior League team. In January 2014 new Drogheda manager Robbie Horgan brought Austin back to United Park after he impressed against the Drogs in a pre-season friendly at Glebe's Market Green ground. He played four league games before an injury ruled him out for the rest of the season, effectively putting an end to his time with the Co Louth side.
