Eoin’s Biography

Eoin started at Galway United in their underage set up under manager Don O'Riordain. In 2003 he was a regualar in the U21 side and made his made his only league appearance for the Tribesman as a substitute against Kilkenny City before an ankle injury in pre-season training of 2004 put a premature end to his time at the club.

From 2004 he played at local club West United before signing for Mervue United to play with their Junior side in 2007.

Eoin made his senior debut for Mervue United during their debut LoI season of 2009. On 20 March, in a home game against Finn Harps, regular 'keeper Ryan Griffin was injured in the warm up and, despite not originally being named on the bench, Eoin was brought on 34 seconds into the game which ended in a 1-1 draw

Eoin went on to make a total of 26 appearances in 2009 but suffered a broken arm in the final game against Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park. It was an injury that kept him out for the majority of 2010 and he next appeared for the club in May 2011 in a league game against Cork City at Turner's Cross.

Eoin made just 1 league appearance for Mervue in 2011 and was with the club's Junior side in 2012.
