Cobh Ramblers signed goalkeeper Dave O Keefe from Avondale Utd. in the July 2007 transfer window.
By 2010 David was back at Avondale United where he was a member of the team that reached the third round of the 2010 FAI Cup. Avondale lost out to fellow non-league side Belgrove.
