Stephen’s Biography

Originally signed from Waterford Bohs, Stephen played with the Blues for three seasons between 2004 and 2006. In September 2004 he scored one of the quickest ever goals at the Brandywell, in the first minute of the Derry City v Waterford United match, only to have it chalked off as the tie was abandoned due to floodlight failure after 19 minutes.

He spent a season at Kilkenny City in 2007, before joining Tramore AFC for the 2008/09 season, helping them to take the Junior League Premier title in May '09.

In late June 2009 Stephen returned for a second spell at Waterford United and played in the club's League Cup final defeat to Bohemians in September of that year. He left the club at the end of '09 to return once again to Junior side Tramore AFC.

Stephen once more returned to Waterford United in July 2014. He made just 2 league appearances but it was a short stay and he later left in August 2014.
