Alex’s Biography
Alex is a defender who began his senior career at Atletico Paranaense in Brazil in 2008. Two years later he signed for Deportivo Maldonado in Uruguay before returning to Brazil to play on loan at Santos.
In 2011 he moved to Europe where he joined Porto. He played there for four years and in 2015 he went to Italy to sign for Juventus where he made over 200 league appearances.
Alex made his international debut for Brazil against Gabon on 10 November 2011.
