Matthew’s Biography

Matthew is a striker who played with MSL side Ballincollig before joining Cobh Ramblers' U19 side in 2016. On 2nd September he made his senior debut for the Rams coming on for Craig Donnellan in the 69th minute of a 2-0 defeat away to Drogheda United. His next outing saw Matthew get his first senior goal, the third in a 3-0 win over Cabinteely on 8th October. By the season's end he had scored 2 goals in 3 league appearances

In 2017 Matthew scored six times for the Rams in league and cup competitions before leaving Cobh in July 2017 in order to take up a scholarship with Davenport University in the USA.
