Shane’s Biography
Shane played for the Shamrock Rovers U19 team during their 2014/15 and short 2015 seasons. In March of 2015 he was awarded the club's U19 Player of the Year award and also appeared for the first team when starting in the Leinster Senior Cup victory over Athlone Town in April 2015.
In January 2016, Shane played for Cabinteely in a pre-season friendly against Bohemians and subsequently signed for the First Division club. He made his league debut on the opening night of the 2016 season in a 2-1 win against Athlone Town at Stradbrook and scored his first league goal, also against Athlone, six weeks later. Shane went on to make 25 league appearances that year as Cabinteely finished seventh of eight in the First Division table.
