Ian’s Biography
Ian played for Athlone Town's u19s for the 2013/14, 2014/15, and 2015 short seasons. He was also included in the first team squad in June 2014 but didn't make an appearance during that season, not making his league debut until 7 August 2015 when he came on as a late substitute in a 1-0 home defeat to Cabinteely . He went onto make 7 league appearances during the 2015 season and added 25 more in 2016, a turbulent season for the Midlanders that saw them finish bottom of the First Division.
In January 2017 Ian signed for Alan Mathews at Longford Town but he did not appear for Longford after March of that year and signed for Midlands rivals Athlone Town in July. He spent one and a half seasons with Athlone, leaving the club at the end of the 2018 season.
