Sodiq’s Biography
Sodiq signed for Athlone Town at the start of the 2013 season but only made two appearances for the club. He joined Sacred Heart in the LSL in January 2014.
Sodiq reemerged in June 2015 when he made his Cabinteely debut for Interim Manager Andrew Rice in a 2-0 home win over Athlone Town. Sodiq went on to score four goals for Cabo during his 14 league appearances for the club. In November 2015, Sodiq was on the move again as he signed for another First Division in the form of Shelbourne.
Making ten league appearances, Sodiq scored twice against his former club Cabinteely in a 1-1 draw and 4-0 win before leaving Shelbourne in July 2016.
Sodiq then spent a season in the Leinster Senior League with Crumlin United before signing for Athlone Town in June of 2018. He played through to the end of 2018 with Athlone and was also part of their pre-season squad in 2019 but didn't sign up for the 2019 First Division campaign.
