Ryan Manning

Ryan is a striker and was one of the stars of Mervue United's 2012/13 U19 side. He was widely tipped to make the breakthrough to the senior side in 2013 and he made his debut for Johnny Glynn's side on the opening night of the season in a scoreless draw away to Athlone Town. He scored his first Mervue goal the following week against Salthill Devon and he bagged nine league goals in 26 appearances that year.

In February 2014, with the Leaving Cert still ahead of him, Ryan signed for the league's newest Galway side, Galway FC. He went on to be a big part of the Galway side, playing twenty-five times for them in the league and scoring five goals, as the club triumphed in the play-offs and earned promotion to the Premier Division for the 2015 season. However, on 8 January 2015 Ryan's future with the newly named Galway United was diverted to London when he signed a two and a half year deal with Premier League side QPR.
