Anthony’s Biography

Anthony played underage football for Rockmount before joining the Cork City U19 squad ahead of the 2012/2013 season. He was also part of the team for the 2013/2014 season but in the Autumn of 2014 Anthony returned to Rockmount in the Munster Senior League and was still with Cork club when he played on trial for Waterford United in their 2015 pre-season campaign. Anthony played several trial games for the Blues before signing officially on 13 February 2015. He went on to play a large role in Waterford's season by playing in 22 of their league matches, although the Blues finished second from bottom in the 2015 First Division.

In 2016 Anthony scored his first league goal, in a 3-1 win over Cabinteely at the RSC, and he went on to get five goals in 22 league appearances. In January 2017 Anthony was one of the first players to commit to a rebranded Waterford FC under new boss Pat Fenlon and he scored one goal as the Blues powered their way to the First Division title.

In February 2018, and just days before the new First Division season began, Anthony signed for Stephen Henderson at Cobh Ramblers.
