Nathan’s Biography
Nathan Murphy played for St Patrick's Athletic U19 side in their 2012/13 season. In the summer of 2013 he appeared on trial at Shelbourne and impressed enough to be signed up for Shelbourne's U19s in July 2013. In January of 2014 Nathan was included in Johnny McDonnell's senior squad ahead of the club's First Division campaign and was a patient understudy to Greg Murray until a knee injury gave Nathan his league debut as a 63rd minute substitute against Shamrock Rovers B on 19 September 2014. Nathan kept the keeper's jersey for the remaining games of that season, collecting 4 league appearances as well as two games in the club's unsuccessful promotion play-off against Galway FC.
