Simon’s Biography

Simon was a member of the Shelbourne U19 squad for the 2012/2013 season and re-signed for the club for the 2013/2014 season. In January 2014 he was also named in Johnny McDonnell's first team squad ahead of Shelbourne's 2014 First Division campaign. He went on to make four league appearances for the club as they qualified for the promotion play-offs.

Simon moved to O’Devaney Dunard in October 2014 but in January 2015 he was recalled to Shelbourne colours by new manager Kevin Doherty. He made his only appearance in the first game of the 2015 season, coming on for the last few minutes of the 0-0 draw with Finn Harps. However, he was soon after ruled out for the majority of the season and only returned to the bench towards the end of the year. In December 2015, Simon returned to O'Devaney Dunard.

However, the club pulled out of the AUL Premier A and Simon returned to the League of Ireland in January 2016 when he signed for Athlone Town. He went on to make nine league appearances, scoring once in a 3-1 defeat to Shelbourne, before leaving the club in June 2016. In July of the same year Simon signed for LSL side St Mochtas.
