Johan’s Biography
Johan is a Swedish forward who plays for Galatasaray in Turkey.
His early career in Sweden involved spells at Holmalunds IF and Ogryte before he joined Dutch side Feyenoord in 2000. He spent four seasons at the club, a period that included loan spells at Swedish side Djurgardens and NAC Breda.
In 2004 Johan joined Danish side Brondby where he netted 22 goals in 58 league appearances, moving on to French side Toulouse in 2006. In France Johan scored 22 league goals over two seasons before joining Bolton Wanderers in June 2008. Johan scored 16 league goals in his three seasons at Bolton, leaving to sign for Turkish side Galatasaray in the summer of 2011.
Johan made his international debut for Sweden in 2002 and had scored 16 times in 63 appearances prior to the start of the 2012 European Championships.
