Shane’s Biography
Shane impressed Everton boss David Moyes while playing for the Northern Ireland U16's in a game against England at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool. He made his senior debut for the club in a Europa League tie away to AEK Athens in December 2009. He went on to make ten appearances in total for Everton over the course of the five seasons he was with the club, whilst also enjoying loan spells at Burnley, Scunthorpe United and Yeovil Town.
In September 2014, Shane joined Blackburn Rovers.
Shane has previously been called up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad and, after the 2016 European Championship, has 5 caps to his name. He was included in the Republic of Ireland's final squad for the 2016 European Championship.
