Daniel spent spent five years at Crumlin United before moving to West Ham United in the summer of 2009 where he played with the London club's youth side.

He returned to Ireland in July 2011 to sign for Tony Cousins at Longford Town and made his debut for the club in a 3-1 defeat to Shelbourne on 13 August. Daniel made 7 league appearances for Longford over the latter half of the 2011 season and added 17 more as a wide player in Longford's attacking front three. In 2013 Daniel scored five times in 25 league appearances as Longford narrowly missed out on promotion in the end-of-season play-offs.

Daniel signed for the Shamrock Rovers B team in February 2014, ahead of their one and only season of league football when they competed in the First Division. Daniel scored on his debut for the Hoops' reserves, in a 1-1 draw with Cobh Ramblers on the opening weekend of the season. He went on to score six goals that year in 22 league appearances. In January 2015 he signed for Eddie Wallace at Athlone Town. He made 22 appearances in 28 possible First Division games whilst also managing to get amongst the goals on seven occasions.

Daniel stayed at Athlone for the 2016 season and made eleven league appearances, scoring twice in the process, before leaving the club in June 2016. He joined Sacred Heart in July of that year.
