John’s Biography
John originally left Cockhill Celtic to join Derry City aged just 16. He spent five years at the Brandywell before moving to Irish League side Omagh Town where he played for eight years. He then spent a year and a half at Institute before playing at Cliftonville and Larne for one season apiece. Finally, John returned home to once again wear the colours of Cockhill Celtic where he played in the side that took part in the 2011 EA Sports Cup. John was part of the Cockhill coaching staff when the club won the 2013 Ulster Senior League.
