Padraic played youths football with Fulham and was part of their successful FA Youth Cup campaign under Roy Hodgson in 2010. Paudie came on as a sub in the semi-final of the competition as Fulham lost out narrowly to Aston Villa.

Paudie returned to Kerry in the summer of 2010 and signed for A Championship side, Tralee Dynamos. But in November 2010 Padraic was signed by Pat Scully for Limerick FC.

He made his league debut for Limerick on the opening night of the 2011 season, scoring in a 2-2 away draw against Finn Harps and went on to become a key figure in the Limerick starting line-up, making 28 league starts and scoring nine goals. In the summer of 2012 Padraic left Limerick and played for Cork City in a friendly against Blackburn Rovers in August 2012.

In January 2013 Padraic signed for Waterford United and made his debut for the Blues on the 8th March against Finn Harps at the RSC. He scored four times in 11 league appearances, adding another goal in the Munster Senior Cup against College Corinthians. Padraic left the club at the end of May 2013.
