Daniel’s Biography

Daniel was part of the Arklow Town side that won the LFA Youths Cup in 2010 and signed with UCD that summer. In February 2011, he made his first senior appearance for the club as a substitute in a Setanta Cup match against Lisburn Distillery at Dalymount Park. Daniel went on to make 21 league appearances through the 2011 season.

2012 was another good year for Danny, making 25 league appearances and scoring three times for the Students as they preserved their Premier Division status. At the end of the season he signed for Trevor Croly, the newly installed boss at Shamrock Rovers.

Danny made his Rovers debut away to Linfield in a Setanta Cup game on 11 March 2013 and made 10 league appearances for the Hoops in 2013, scoring once, in the 7-0 win over Bray Wanderers. Danny also won a Setanta Cup winners medal, playing in the 7-1 win over Drogheda United in the final, although he was not part of the matchday squad when Rovers won the EA Sports Cup, again beating Drogheda in the final. He was released by Rovers in October 2013 and signed for Sligo Rovers in November 2013.

Daniel went on to play twenty-six times for the Bit O'Red, scoring five goals for the club, as Sligo finished fifth in the 2014 league table. Daniel stayed with the club for the 2015 season and he went on make twenty league appearances for the Bit O'Red, scoring once in a 2-1 loss to Shamrock Rovers, as Sligo finished ninth in the Premier Division.

In December 2015, Danny moved to promoted Premier Division side Wexford Youths. Danny then left the club in September 2016.
