Dwayne began his career at Ballymena United in 2001. He spent three seasons at the club before moving on to Coleraine in 2004. He made just 2 league appearances for Coleraine and signed for Limavady United for the 2005/06 season.
In July 2006 Dwayne signed for Dungannon Swifts where he made 81 league appearances over the next three seasons.
At the start of the 2009/10 season Dwayne left Dungannon to join his former club Ballymena United where he made 25 league appearances over the season.
