Paul Doolin announces U19 friendly squad

Republic of Ireland Under-19 team manager Paul Doolin has included four players from League of Ireland clubs in his squad for a friendly international against Latvia. 

The Irish face the Latvians at Arkadija Stadium on Saturday, September 8 with a 2pm kick-off.


Eoin Hyland (St Patrick’s Athletic), Colm Horgan (Salthill Devon), Brian Lenihan (Cork City) and Sean Maguire (Waterford United) have all been included in the squad for the trip to Riga next week.

This fixture is part of preparation for the UEFA U19 Championship first Qualifying Round in Luxemburg from 11-16 October. Doolin's Irish team meet the hosts, Germany and FYRMacedonia.
