Ireland to face Hungary before EURO 2012

Final preparations plans for Ireland's Euro 2012 have been confirmed on Tuesday with the announcement that the Republic of Ireland will face Hungary in Budapest on the 4th June in Puskás Ferenc stadium in the Hungarian capital.. On Monday, the FAI confirmed Ireland would have a pre-tournament training camp in Montecatini, Italy from May 27 to June 3, 2012.
 

As previously indicated, the team will depart from Dublin on May 27, the day after playing Bosnia in Aviva Stadium on May 26 and will be based in Montecatini for one week, until June 3.

 

The full programme for Giovanni Trapattoni’s team prior to the European Championships is as follows:
