Byrne returns to Carlisle Grounds

Bray Wanderers have announced that Jason Byrne has signed for the club for the 2012 Premier Division season.

 

Byrne returns to the Seagulls where he started his League of Ireland career in 1998. During a five year spell at the Carlisle he scored 64 goals which included the two goals in the 2nd replay of the 1999 FAI Cup Final win against Finn Harps.

 

He left Bray Wanderers in 2003 to join Shelbourne and has had spells with Cardiff City, Bohemians and Dundalk.
