Cork City FC have this afternoon confirmed that midfielder Clark Keltie has left the club for personal reasons before he even plays a competitive game for the Premier Division new boys.
The club kept their statement short and to the point, simply stating that: "Clark Keltie’s contract with Cork City Football Club has been cancelled by mutual consent for personal reasons."
Talking to Extratime.ie Keltie thanked Cork City manager Tommy Dunne for his understanding and the Cork City fans.
"Tommy and City have been fantastic in terms of their understanding about the situation," he said. "And I want to wish them and the fans the best of luck for the coming season and I'm disappointed I can't be part of it."
