Keegan appointed as new PFAI Chairman

On his appointment Paul said “It is a tremendous honour to become the Chairman of the PFAI. I have firsthand experience of the difficulties facing the players nowadays, having faced problems at Leeds United, Drogheda United and now Bohemians. I know what an important role the Union plays in these situations and I’m delighted to be able to play my part.”
General Secretary Stephen McGuinness said “Paul is a model professional and one of the top players in the league. He is the ideal figure head for our Association and I look forward to working with him and the new committee in the year ahead.”
The new PFAI Management Committee is as follows:

Treasurer – Stephen Paisley (Shelbourne)

David McAllister (St Patrick’s Athletic)
Gary Twigg (Shamrock Rovers)

David Freeman (Longford Town)
