Prediction Challengers Revealed - Week 2

This week we asked you to name the former-Irish rugby international that played League of Ireland football with Shamrock Rovers and Limerick? The answer was of course Tony Ward. The first two correct answers came from Alan Forristal and Shaun Kelly . Representing the Extratime team this week will be Alan Smith.

Alan Forristal was the first with the right answer. Alan is a Waterford United supporter and has been since he was five. His best memory was the 2-1 away victory against Shamrock Rovers in Dalymount Park, November 2005. A winner takes all game as the winner stayed up and the loser went to the relegation playoff. Waterford were 1-0 down at half time but an inspired performance in the second half turn the game on its head as we went on to win 2-1.

Our second contestant is Shaun Kelly . Shaun is a Bohemians supporter and has continued to follow Bohs after being brought to Dalymount Park as a child with his father. Shaun’s best memory was against Shamrock Rovers when Bohs beat them 6-4 in Santry in 2001.

Alan Smith represents the Extratime Team this week. The Cork-based reporter oversees our top class panel of columnists. One of his earliest memories is sitting in the new Donie Forde stand watching Cork City trounce Dundalk in a league game at Turner's Cross because he was too young to go into the Shed.

Alan’s Predictions:
Dundalk 1-1 Bray Wanderers
Galway United 0-2 St. Patrick's Athletic
Sporting Fingal 1-2 Bohemians
UCD 2-0 Drogheda United
Shamrock Rovers 1-1 Sligo Rovers
Limerick 2-0 Longford Town
Waterford United 2-1 Derry City
Monaghan United 2-0 Finn Harps
Shelbourne 5-0 Salthill Devon
Mervue United 0-1 Wexford Youths
Athlone Town 1-2 Cork City Foras Co-op

Shaun’s Predictions
