Week 3
Published: March 18, 2010
It doesn’t look like Drogheda are the team to derail them, though they should definitely count themselves unlucky not to pick up all 3 points in last weekend’s live game against Dundalk and Bohs can surely be considered banker material for the weekend.
St Pat’s are the other side boasting a 100% record but UCD’s performance in their defeat to Bohs midweek means it’s probably better to sit this game out from a betting perspective. Similarly Saturday’s Connacht derby between Sligo Rovers and Galway United looks a tough game to call
Sunday’s live game involves Dundalk away at Shamrock Rovers and although Dundalk did get two late goals to steal a point from the Louth derby, they look to be struggling up front, very similar to Shamrock Rovers who are without the injured Gary Twigg and Dessie Baker. It looks like it will be a tight affair and betting that there will be less than 1.5 goals in the game could offer a bit of value.
Sporting Fingal away at Braym as well as Shels at home to Salthill should also oblige to add to an treble with Bohs.
Recommendations:
Under 1.5 goals in Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk - 2pts @ 7/4
Bohs to beat Drogheda, Fingal to beat Bray and Shels to beat Salthill – 1pt Treble.
