The first and second draw of the 2010 FAI Ford Cup took place on Wednesday evening with some interesting ties picked out for the early stages of the competition.

There were 25 teams involved in the draw that took place in Abbotstown, including five clubs that currently ply their trade in the Newstalk A Championship.

With 16 intermediate teams and four junior clubs also involved, the first and second rounds of the famous cup competition are sure to be highly competitive.
