Alan Dooley
is a freelance sports reporter based in Galway who has been following the League of Ireland on and off since he was 6 which, unfortunately for him, was way back in 1985. His first memory of LOI is Vinny Arkins, then of Shamrock Rovers, on the receiving end of banter about his long, blond hairdo while his favourite player of all-time is Derry City's Liam Coyle.
