Wexford confirm first pre-season friendly

Wexford Youths have confirmed that they will take on Saint Patrick's Athletic on Friday 13 February at Ferrycarrig Park.

It will be Wexford's first pre-season friendly and it will have a kick-off time of 8pm. For Pat's, on the other hand, it will be their second outing of 2009, as they visit UCD four days earlier.

The pair last met in August, when the Saints won 3-1 in Wexford to book their place in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup. That followed on from the first ever meeting between the pair last February when, in another pre-season friendly at Ferrycarrig, the Inchicore outfit ran out comfortable 5-1 winners.
