Monaghan United have signed former Oldham Athletic, Drogheda United and Kildare County goalkeeper Charlie Tracey for the upcoming season.

Another young player, but at 22 years of age, Charlie has a lot of experience under his belt. The 6ft1 'keeper has underage International Caps as well as having spent time in England. Tracey will join Brendan Kennedy and Aaron McCarey and will give manager Mick Cooke great options in goals.

Cooke has also secured the signing of Clones native Keith Pringle. Pringle formerly played at Monaghan United at Under 16 & 18 levels and was playing football in Belfast, with Cliftonville one of his former teams, until he signed for United this year.
