FULL TIME!

The game has ended between Dundalk and Bohemians.

That's it from me, Niall Newberry at Oriel Park on a night where Dundalk have broken a League of Ireland record for most consecutive clean sheets at the beginning of a season. We do apologise for the technical issues we encountered throughout the second half but we hope that you otherwise enjoyed our coverage.

90' + 2'

GOAL!

Michael Duffy scores for Dundalk.

Michael Duffy deservedly gets himself on the scoresheet deep into stoppage time, excellently turning his man before drilling a low shot past Shane Supple following a nice low cross from Sean Gannon on the right.

90'

Our servers are still down but Bohemians probably should be back in this match after substitute Daniel Grant was denied what looked to be a stonewall penalty before Dinny Corcoran's effort was somehow blocked on the line - there is to be three minutes of stoppage time to be played here.

88'

Substitution

John Mountney replaces Robbie Benson for Dundalk.

76'

Substitution

Stephen O'Donnell replaces Krisztian Adorjan for Dundalk.

76'

Substitution

Daniel Grant replaces Paddy Kavanagh for Bohemians.

65'

Excellent following here at Oriel Park tonight as an official attendance of 3,263 has just been announced over the public address system - Bohs have brought a strong contingent up the M1 too.

64'

Yellow Card

Robbie Benson is booked for Dundalk.

63'

Substitution

Eoghan Stokes replaces Karl Moore for Bohemians.

60'

Yellow Card

Pat Hoban is booked for Dundalk.

58'

Krisztian Adorjan's shot produces a fine save out of Shane Supple - I'm being told that we're experiencing problems with the servers back at Extratime HQ so apologies if our updates become somewhat diluted. Fingers crossed that the issue will be resolved shortly. #PrayForOurServers

57'

Dundalk looking very comfortable here at the moment with Bohs offering virtually nothing going forward - The Lilywhites have now gone close to twelve hours of league football without conceding.

52'

Yellow Card

Paddy Kavanagh is booked for Bohemians.

46'

Keith Ward’s audacious long range shot almost catches out the unsuspecting Gabriel Sava, hitting the underside of the crossbar before the stand-in keeper gratefully gathers at the second attempt.

46'

Substitution

Dylan Watts replaces Dan Casey for Bohemians.

46'

Second Half

The second half between Dundalk and Bohemians has started.

45'

Half Time

It is half-time between Dundalk and Bohemians.

45'

There will be three minutes of stoppage time at the end of this half due to that earlier injury to Gary Rogers - Bohs haven't at all tested his replacement Gabriel Sava with Dundalk cruising here.

37'

Wonderful play from Michael Duffy on the left as he beats not one, not two but three defenders before unleashing a shot which is saved by Supple - that attack in fact came from a Bohs corner.

33'

Dundalk are on fire now and Gannon's beautiful cross is headed straight into the arms of Supple by Patrick Hoban - it should be noted that the last time Gannon was on the scoresheet, they scored six.

31'

GOAL!

Sean Gannon scores for Dundalk.

The hosts double their advantage after an excellent ball from Jamie McGrath sets up the scampering Sean Gannon on the right and the full-back delightfully slots the ball underneath the despairing Shane Supple.

29'

Interestingly, that happened to be the first penalty that Hoban has scored in any league match since he dispatched one at the very same end of Oriel Park against UCD a little under four years ago.

24'

PENALTY SCORED!

Pat Hoban scores for Dundalk from the penalty spot.

Patrick Hoban makes absolutely no mistake from the spot as he sends Shane Supple the wrong way for his fifth goal of the season - he scored just four while at Mansfield Town throughout the 2016/17 campaign.

24'

Penalty to Dundalk - Dan Casey absolutely clatters into Krisztian Adorjan and referee Graham Kelly has little option but to point to the spot - looks like Patrick Hoban is going to take the penalty.

22'

Bohs keeper Shane Supple scuffs an attempted kick out following what was a poor back pass from Dan Casey, but Patrick Hoban can't take full advantage of the error and fires his effort over the bar.

18'

Still very little to report from Oriel Park but it's worth noting that Bohemians were in fact the last opposition team to score a league goal here, when Ismahil Akinade did so all of 160 days ago now.

13'

Not much happening here in regards chances but that was a very nice dinked pass from Ian Morris - however it doesn't reach Dinny Corcoran as my match report remains more or less untouched.

9'

Substitution

Gabriel Sava replaces Gary Rogers for Dundalk.

6'

Gary Rogers is down and receiving treatment, cue a lot of anxious faces around me here in the main stand - Gabriel Sava looks to be getting himself ready to make an unexpected appearance.

4'

Bright enough start from the hosts here and that was some lovely build up play between Krisztian Adorjan - on what is his first league start - and Patrick Hoban, but the latter's cross is well over hit.

1'

GAME ON!

The game between Dundalk and Bohemians has kicked off.

0'

The teams are in and Dundalk make two changes from the side that won at Sligo Rovers last weekend, with Stephen Folan and Krisztian Adorjan replacing Sean Hoare and Ronan Murray, who don't make the squad due to suspected injuries - Dan Byrne and Keith Ward are the only two survivors from the Bohemians team which knocked Cabinteely out of the EA Sports Cup on Monday night.

Hello and welcome to Oriel Park for tonight's SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash between two clubs that are well and truly steeped in history - Dundalk and Bohemians. Keeping you updated on events here tonight is Niall Newberry (Twitter @niallnewberry) as The Lilywhites look to become the first team in League of Ireland history to keep clean sheets in every one of their opening eight matches.
