FULL TIME!

The game has ended between Republic of Ireland and Denmark. 1-5. I've been Andrew Horgan, thanks for following.

90' + 2'

Corner Kick

Republic of Ireland have won a corner kick. Robbie Brady will take it. Duffy heads wide of the back post.

90' + 1'

Duffys goal seems like a lifetime ago.

90'

Two minutes added on.

90'

PENALTY SCORED!

Nicklas Bendtner scores for Denmark from the penalty spot. Bendtner curls his spot kick into the top left corner. Denmark really rubbing it in now.

89'

Penalty Denmark. McClean fouls Bendtner.

88'

No surprise who has been named Extra Time.ie's man of the match. A stunning hat-trick from Eriksen sees him take the prize. He'll be delighted.

85'

The Denmark fans unveil a banner saying, Lord, as Bendtner comes onto the pitch.

84'

Substitution

Nicklas Bendtner replaces Nicolai Jorgensen for Denmark.

81'

Corner Kick

Ireland make hard work of clearing their lines following the corner.

78'

Almost a consolation for Ireland as McClean plays in Long but his lob drifts just over the bar.

76'

Biggest night of football at the Aviva for some time, worst night of Martin O'Neill's reign surely.

74'

GOAL!

Christian Eriksen scores for Denmark. Emphatic from Eriksen to complete his hat trick. Ward tess him up perfectly in the centre of the box and he smashes it into the top right corner.

71'

Substitution

Kevin Long replaces Ciaran Clark for Republic of Ireland.

71'

Few Irish fans leaving around us, I think most just want the full time whistle now.

70'

Substitution

Andreas Cornelius replaces Yussuf Poulsen for Denmark.

67'

Ireland still going for it but the game is surely lost. Ward cross into the box and McClean heads over. Don't think the Denmark fans even noticed theyre currently swaying side to side.

63'

GOAL!

Christian Eriksen scores for Denmark. Knew there was another goal in this just not the way we hoped. Denmark are off to Russia as Eriksen curls in another stunner into the corner from the edge of the box. Top player.

62'

There's definitely another goal in this game. There I said it. As Brady whips a free kick from the wing striaght at Schmeichel.

61'

The ole's are coming out from the away end. They're getting closer to Russia.

58'

Better from Christie going forward as he cuts past his man down the right and into the box but his powerful shot from a difficult angle is saved by the keeper. More urgency from the home side, badly needed.

57'

McGeadys poor cross almost costs Ireland as Denmark break. Eriksen through on goal but his shot is saved well by Randolph.

55'

Ireland corner, Duffy header, saved with ease by the keeper.

54'

Substitution

Peter Ankersen replaces Jens Stryger Larsen for Denmark.

53'

Sisto again gets between the lines, runs at Ireland's defence and Randolph has to palm his powerful strike to safety. Denmarks resulting corner comes to nothing again.

51'

Sisto cuts in from the right but blasts his strike well off target.

49'

Denmark win a corner of their own through the lively Sisto. That too comes to nothing.

47'

Ireland force a corner but it comes to nothing as the fans try and get behind the team yet again.

46'

Substitution

Wesley Hoolahan replaces David Meyler for Republic of Ireland.

46'

Substitution

Aiden McGeady replaces Harry Arter for Republic of Ireland.

46'

Second Half

The second half between Republic of Ireland and Denmark has started.

45' + 1'

Half Time

It is half-time between Republic of Ireland and Denmark.

45'

Frustrating end to a half that started perfectly. Big half time for Martin O'Neill, will be interesting to see how he reacts.

41'

McClean goes down in the box and looks for a penalty, would have been harsh though it was just a slight shove in the back.

40'

Half time approaching and Denmark are happy to just sit in and hit Ireland on the break. Ireland need to change to break them down.

35'

You only sing when you're winning taunt the Danish fans. Ireland fans trying their best to respond but theyve just suffered two serious blows.

32'

GOAL!

Christian Eriksen scores for Denmark. 1-2 and Ireland are in big trouble here. Ward loses possession, Denmark counter, 3 against 2, Jorgenson finds Eriksen and that is some finish. Opens up his body and curls a sensational effort from the edge of the box in off the underside of the cross bar.

29'

OWN GOAL!

Cyrus Christie has put the ball in his own net! 1-1 and I have that down as an own goal. Great work by Sisto following the corner, skips past Arter his cross finds Christenson and his shot hits the past, hits Christie and rolls into the net.

28'

Sisto cuts onto his right and his long range shot deflects wide for a corner.

24'

So Ireland cant play good football. They almost score again following a sweeping move involving Hendrick and Brady before the latter plays in McClean who shoots just wide of the far bottom right corner from a tight angle. Lovely move.

21'

Ireland inches away from making it two nil. Great work down the right from Christie, superb cross finds Murphy but his flick hits the wrong side of the net. Half the crowd thought it was in, it wasn't.

20'

Better from Ireland as McClean charges down the left and finds Murphy. The striker's too slow though and allows the defence to recover. Irelands rear guard can breathe again.

19'

Denmark really should be level. They keep targeting Christie who dives in, Jorgensen feeds Sisto but his shot is denied by Randolph. Ireland need to get a grip here.

17'

Kvist almost scores for Denmark. His shot through bodies on the edge of the box is brilliantly tipped wide of the bottom left corner by Randolph. Superb save.

16'

Free kick to Denmark midway inside Ireland's half taken short, surprised they didn't swing it in. The visitors penning Ireland back here.

14'

Denmark are growing in confidence as another long ball towards Ireland's right back is eventually scrambled clear.

9'

The goal also means we won't be here as long as we may have thought, no extra time to be played here tonight.

8'

And the ground continues to rock. Important Ireland don't just sit back now.

7'

Blow it up ref!!

6'

GOAL!

Shane Duffy scores for Republic of Ireland. What a goal. Well not really. Mistake in the defence allows Duffy to beat the keeper to the ball and head home. Brilliant start for Ireland.

3'

A beach ball has just landed in the press box. It's not that type of night, yet!

2'

Nervous moment there as David Meyler attempted clearance lands in the gracious hands of Darren Randolph. He didnt mean that.

1'

GAME ON!

The game between Republic of Ireland and Denmark has kicked off.

0'

Time for the national anthems, I'll sing for that alright sure.

0'

The atmosphere at the moment is absolutely unreal. Would it be very unprofessional if I stood up in the press box and started to sing?
