90' + 1'
Four minutes added on.

89'
Rovers continue their search for a goal, but still they can't break Shels down.

88'
Killian Brennan with a free from 25 yards, it hits the wall and drops over Chris Bennion's bar.

85'
Man of the match Philip Hughes is replaced by Anto Murphy.

83'
Conor McCormack SOMEHOW misses a sitter at the far post.

81'
Another Shels free after Ian Ryan was fouled on a run upfield, Cassidy puts it in the Rovers box but Paul Byrne's touch only sends it high and wide,

79'
The Hoops fans seem to have had enough, they're heading for the exits despite the pleas of the stadium announcer here. Meanwhile Philly Hughes hit a free well over the bar there.

78'
Shels had their 9th and 10th corners there, with Paul Byrne heading wide from the first.

77'

Yellow Card

Kevin Dawson is booked, not sure why.

77'
My internet is a bit patchy here so sorry for the lack of updates before the goal, but there wasn't a lot to report other than a few half-chances.

75'

Substitution

Daryl Kavanagh on for Tommy Stewart

74'

Substitution

Ciaran Kilduff is booked for folllowing through in a tackle on Sean Byrne.

71'
Philly Hughes heads in at the far post from a Paddy Kavanagh cross, after some great work down the right by the ex-Rovers man.

71'

GOAL!

Philip Hughes scores for Shelbourne.

62'
No Shels defender could stop Killian Brennan's run into the box off the wing until Andy Boyle slid in. The corner came in and looked dangerous but was cleared by Paisley.

60'
Tommy Stewart was presented with another good ball in front of goal from a Brennan cross, but headed over.

57'
Killian Brennan puts a free into the Shels box, but the header on it was well over in the end.

55'

Substitution

Philly Gorman took a bit of  a knock going for the ball, and is replaced by Paul Byrne.

53'
Oscar Jansson has to push a good long-range David Cassidy shot wide there, did well to get down to it.

52'
It's become a game of kick-and-chase here, both sides launching their fair share of Garryowens.

49'
Tommy Stewart catches the ball well just outside the Shels box but it's just over the bar.

48'
Ten-man Rovers are pushing hard for an equaliser here.

46'

Substitution

Sean Gannon replaces Stephen Rice and Conor McCormack replaces Gary McCabe.

46'

Second Half

We're back on here, Rovers have made changes...

45' + 4'

Half Time

Half time.

45' + 3'
A throw is taken quickly and Philly Hughes finds a bit of space, but hsi shot is feeble and wide.

45' + 2'
The game was stopped quite a bit for injuries so we
are into our 2nd of 4 minutes added on here.

45'
David Cassidy's free deflected off the wall and went out for a corner, which was swung in dangerously across the Rovers box. No one on the end of it though.

44'

Substitution

Stephen Hurley on for Glen Cronin, who took that knock earlier.

42'

Red Card

Ken Oman fouls Philly Hughes when he was through on goal, and Rovers are down to ten men.

39'
Glen Cronin is all bandaged up after a clash of heads, but he'#s OK to go on.

38'
Oscar Jansson pulled off a terrific save just after the goal to deny Stephen Paisley, who was up for another corner.

30'

GOAL!

Philip Hughes scores for Shelbourne.

29'
Philly Hughes shoots JUST WIDE in front of goal after latching onto a Sean Byrne free,

28'

Yellow Card

Stephen Rice went up for a header with Paddy Kavanagh, but looked like he led in with his arm, so is booked.

26'
Philly Gorman wins a fourth Shels corner from Kerrea Gilbert, and it's overhit. A bit of head tennis ensues but it eventually falls for David Cassidy but he shoots wide.

23'
Pat Sullivan tried to shoot from a low Rovesr corner, but he could only force another corner through a Glen Cronin deflection, which was subsequently cleared.

22'
Hard to see anyone breaking this deadlock at the moment, but Shels are coming into it more and more.

18'
Philly Hughes crosses for Philly Gorman at the near post, and the ball is put out for another corner. Stephen Paisley's header from that corner was cleared off the line, but the ref blew for a foul anyway.

16'
Paddy Kavanagh was played into the Rovers box by Philly Gorman but the ball was cleared out for a corner before he could get a shot off. That corner was also cleared in turn.

13'
Great save by Chris Bennion! Tommy Stewart's close-range header had to be palmed away by the Shels keeper.

11'
From one Philly to another there as Hughes heads the ball on for Gorman. Oscar Jannson came out to avert the danger though.

9'
Kilduff has the first real chance of the game, he shot just wide from about 5 yards out after Tommy Stewart headed the ball on to him from a free.

7'
Ronan Finn and Kerrea Gilbert went down the right there for Rovers and kept the ball for a while, but just couldn't get a cross in - when Kilduff was waiting for it in the box.

4'
Rovers are playing five across midfield, with Tommy Stewart dropping back. They've given away possession far too easily so far here though, lots of fouling going on.

2'
Shels had a free in there on the far side of the Rovers box but a good delivery was spoiled due to fouling in the box, so a free out is given.

1' + 45'
Four minutes added on.

1'

GAME ON!

We're underway here in Tolka Park. It looks like a better turnout than Monday's Shels-Pat's match already.

0'
The teams are in, Glen Cronin and Paddy Kavanagh both start for Shels in an apparent 4-4-2, with Philly Gorman set to partner Philly Hughes up front. Shane O'Connor starts at left full for Rovers in what also looks like a 4-4-2 - Tommy Stewart and Ciaran Kilduff start up front.

0'
Welcome to Tolka Park for one of the biggest games of the season for Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers. For the Reds this represents a chance to emulate last year's run to the FAI cup final and throw some gloss on an otherwise mediocre season. Rovers see the FAI cup as a chance to restore some sort of pride in a club which has struggled at times this season. Stand-in manager Stephen Glass will also look to the cup as an opportunity to put himself in the window for a permanent job- whether in Tallaght or elsewhere. It's Niall Farrell updating from Tolka Park tonight, I'll have starting lineups as soon as they're available. As always, you can tweet me @njafarrell or @ExtratimeNews.
