Bohemians fans are celebrating and though they rode their luck at times Rovers didn't really look like champions on their home turf. Stephen Kenny cut a disconcsolate figure at the end but the points are going to the North side on this occassion

Second Half

Back underway in Tallaght

46'
Teams are back on the pitch in Tallaght

46'
Aaron Callaghan will be hoping that his team can hold on for their first win in six games but he knows they will have to defend with their lives in the second half, though their Devanney is doing a good job of holding up the ball and bringing his midfield into the game.

46'
Stephen Kenny will wonder how his team are a goal down at half time but that they are. His team have dominated the first half, laying siege to the Bohs goal, creating a number of chances. Tommy Stewart hitting the crossbar the pick of these. In fairness to Bohs they did look good on the break with Ward and Devanney doing well with the scraps they had to feed .on

45' + 1'

Half Time

What a time to score! Bohs go in 1-0 up on their fiercest rivals.

45'

GOAL!

34'
More Rovers pressure mostly coming down the left flank and Shane O'Connor's cross is volleyed wide by Twigg. Bohs in danger of being over run here

29'
Pat Sullivans low cross is whipped off the toe of Gary Twigg by Kevin Feely. Lot of pressure now from the home side

20'
End to end stuff as Karl Moore just fails to get on the end of Devanneys cross and down the other end Billy Dennehy's cross flashes across goal and wide. Starting to open up

18'
Bohs are really chasing down the Rovers mid-field, some of the challenges are border line but Ref's doing a good job in letting the game flow

15'
A spell of pressure for the home side were they forced Bohs back but couldn't get any meaningful goalmouth action. Their fans are really urging them on though!

Teams on the pitch now so we won't be long before kick-off.

0'
Bohemians look to be continuing with their 3-5-2 formation with Evan McMillan, who scored in their 2-3 defeat to St.Pat's on Friday, in a striking role. Atmosphere really starting to build here. Hopefully we have a cracker in store!

0'
Rovers welcome back Captain Ken Oman and Gary Twigg for the game. Twigg replaces Ciaran Kilduff who drops to the bench despite opening the scoring for Rovers in their 2-2 draw with Shelbourne on Friday night.

This is the third league meeting of the sides this season with honours going the way of the home team on each occassion. Rovers winning the earlier fixture here two-nil and Bohs with the aforementioned four goal victory in Dalymount, which I won't mention again!

0'
There's a rolling mist on the hills behind the stadium and a slight drizzle on the pitch but otherwise perfect evening for football. Both teams out warming up for the 8o'clock kick-off and quite a crowd building up too.

Welcome to Tallaght Stadium for the derby clash between Rovers and their bitter rivals from the North-side, Bohemians. Never any love lost between these two and the four-nil hammering Rovers took at Dalymount in their last encounter will mean that it may be even more passionate than usual. Bring it on! Do love a Dublin derby!
