FULL TIME!

And that's that. Another three points for Sligo Rovers and well for Dundalk, it's looking bleak. I'm Christopher Davey, thank you and goodnight.

90'
Two minutes added on.

87'
The ball came from an Ndo corner, which was headed by McGuinness. The keeper Cherrie got to it and it went high into the air. It rose and dropped under the bar, where Buchanan tapped it in expectedly.

86'

GOAL!

Liam Buchanan scores for Sligo Rovers.

84'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - David Cawley replaces Danny Ventre. The crowd get to their feet for the club captain.

83'
Ndo found Millien on the right, who put his down and marched to goal. He skinned Nathan Murphy and took a shot that dipped onto the roof of the net.

82'
Michael Rafter hits the train tracks with a shot from 30 yards. A poor performance tonight so far by Rafter.

79'

Yellow Card

Mark Griffin is booked for Dundalk.

78'
Michael Rafter has a free kick blocked by the wall. Free was in a very promising position, very poor from the Rafter.

74'
A Ross Gaynor cross from the left is smothered by Cherrie. This game is now at snails pace.

72'

Substitution

Dundalk Sub - Chris Reilly replaces Gary Shanahan.

70'
Cretaro goes down theatrically in the area, not even the Sligo Rovers fans appealed for that one.

65'
A stray Ventre backpass is picked up by an alert Stephen O'Donnell who shot low and to the right of Rogers, but the Meathman tipped it onto the post.

64'
Pascal Millien found Liam Buchanan in the area but his low shot is blocked by a Dundalk body in the area.

58'
A cross from Gaynor on the left is met by Buchanan's left boot in the air, but falls into the arms of Cherrie. That first goal seems elusive for the Scotsman.

55'
Dundalk still struggling to put anything anything meaningful together, Rovers still looking well on top here.

53'

Substitution

Dundalk Sub - Paul Walsh comes on for Liam Burns. Finally.

49'
Gaynor took a free kick from the right, that swung in and went past everyone in the 6 yard area and was indeed going in anyways before Peers smashed it in. Sligo now piling on the pressure.

49'

GOAL!

Gavin Peers scores for Sligo Rovers.

47'
Burns leaves the field, yet to be replaced for Dundalk.

46'

Second Half

The second half begins and the attendance tonight is 3,265.

45' + 2'

Half Time

Half time here at the Showgrounds. Rovers looking comfortable, but all those handicapped and overs bets are not.

45'
Two minutes to be added on.

43'
A lofted through ball from Cretaro bounced over the Dundalk defence and into the path of Liam Buchanan. Buchanan, one on one with Cherrie snatched at his attempted lobbed volley and the keeper got a hand to it.

41'

Yellow Card

Millien goes past Paul Whelan and is chopped down by the former Sligo Rover. Yellow for Whelan.

37'
Great interplay from Buchanan and Cretaro saw the Scotsmen put the ball through for Cretaro who was in on goal. Cretaro then tried to return the favour but it was one pass too many and the ball dribbled wide.

35'
More hmming and hawing from Sligo Rovers in the Dundalk half, but no chances created. Dundalk really living off scraps here.

33'

Yellow Card

Stephen Maher is booked for Dundalk.

31'
Griffin takes a free kick from 27 yards. It dips over the wall and into Rogers' hands. Good save from the Meathman.

30'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - Liam Buchanan replaces Mark Quigley. Quigley seems to have picked up a knock after slipping two or three times on the pitch.

28'
Remarkable possession retention from Rovers here, all in the opposition half. Joey Ndo shoots over from 30 yards then.

24'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - Pascal Millien replaces Alan Keane. Gaynor will go to left back, and Conneely to right back, with Millien taking his place in midfield.

23'
More sustained pressure from Sligo Rovers, but no real end product worth typing about. The Bit O'Red look well in control of this game.

19'
Corner Sligo Rovers after some great play by Raffaelle Cretaro on the wing, which nearly sneaked in after coming off Mark Quigley from McGuinness' header.

14'
Some great Dundalk play that involved everyone in the middle, culminated in Mark Griffin shooting from the left and it being svaed by Gary Rogers.

11'
Lynch and Quigley broke down the right. Lynch stormed down the right and slipped the ball passed Nathan Murphy into the stride of Mark Quigley seamlessly. Quigley took one touch, open up his body and placed the ball low and to Peter Cherrie's left. Effortless from Sligo Rovers.

11'

GOAL!

Mark Quigley scores for Sligo Rovers.

9'
Rovers cut through the Dundalk defence, slowly but with ease. Gaynor then a shot/crossed a ball that zipped across the area but couldn't get Cretaro.

6'
A great through ball from Jason McGuinness finds Lee Lynch but the midfielder can do nothing to prevent it going over the end line. Nice innovation from the McGuinness.

3'
Early pressure from Rovers here, holding possession well and making Dundalk drop back.

1'

GAME ON!

Kick off here and Rovers start off into the railway end.

0'
Change to the Dundalk starting XI, Nathan Murphy makes his 50th league start as a replacement for Eoghan Osbourne. Osbourne hurt himself in the warm up, and is now not even on the bench for this evening's game.

Good evening and welcome to the Showgrounds for tonight's game. The teams are in thanks to Jessica Farry and me, well I'm Christopher Davey. The stands are filling up here, and there's an expectant air in Sligo this evening. If you need to contact me or have any questions, you can get me @ChristopherDavy on Twitter. Clear? I hope that's crystal!
