Ross Gaynor today put pen to paper with Sligo Rovers as the left sided player becomes the latest to commit to the Bit O' Red for 2013.

Gaynor signed with Rovers at the beginning of the 2012 season as a left winger, but quickly adapted to become a makeshift left back due to the departure of Aaron Greene and injuries sustained by the starting left back, Iarfhlaith Davoren. His performances in both positions were a vital part of Sligo Rovers claiming their first

league title in 35 years.

Gaynor has had previous spells with Millwall, Cobh Ramblers, Sporting Fingal, Drogheda United and Dundalk. He has made 36 appearances for Sligo Rovers in all competitions, scoring 1 goal, against Monaghan United in the EA Sports Cup.
