Paddy Andrews signs for Roddy's Mons

Former Dublin Gaelic football player Paddy Andrews will hope to swap scoring points against Monaghan with scoring goals for Monaghan United, after the club today confirmed his signing.

Andrews made his debut for Dublin in 2008, but has not featured in this year's championship campaign. Dublin manager Pat Gilroy dropped him from last year's panel, despite Andrews' starring role in DCU's 2010 Sigerson cup-winning side.

The St. Brigids clubman won a Leinster Championship in 2009 and also scored a point for Dublin against Monaghan in the league this year. Monaghan United say that they hope to unveil more signings in the next few days.
