Keto, Simpson and Twine all depart Waterford FC

Waterford FC have confirmed that the trio of Hugo Keto, Aaron Simpson and Scott Twine have all departed the club.

Keto and Twine both return to their parent clubs Brighton & Hove Albion and Swindon Town respectively while Simpson has seen his deal cut short after joining the club in March.

Keto struggled to make his mark on the Waterford this year with only three appearances to is name at the RSC.

His most recent league outing came against Dundalk at Oriel Park in a damaging 4-0 defeat for Alan Reynolds’ side.

Aaron Simpson has also seen his time cut short at the RSC after nine appearances for the South-East club.

22-year-old Simpson joined from Premier League Wolves but has since struggled to force his way into Reynolds’ plans, ultimately seeing his deal cut short midway through the season.

Also departing the club is midfielder Scott Twine who returns to his parent club Swindon Town.

Twine made 15 appearances for the Blues while also scoring two goals in the process. His most recent strike saw Waterford past the challenge of first Division Bray Wanderers in the EA Sports Cup.
