Ballymena's clash with Linfield set for BBC2 live broadcast as NIFL confirm post-split fixtures

Ballymena United and Linfield’s top-of-the-table clash will be broadcast live on BBC21 NI on Friday, April 5th as the NIFL confirmed the post-split fixture list.

The top two will meet in the Showgrounds in the first of the post-split fixtures as David Jeffrey’s Sky Blues continue to chase what would be a first-ever Premiership title.

Two rounds remain before the split takes effect – Ballymena are one of four with an extra game in hand – but the top six is already confirmed as Coleraine are eight points clear of Dungannon Swifts.

Third-placed Crusaders will host fourth-placed Glenavon as they look to make up a seemingly insurmountable 14-point deficit on leaders Linfield, while Cliftonville host Coleraine.

In the bottom six, last-placed Newry City host 11th-place Ards, Warrenpoint Town travel to Institute and Dungannon host Glentoran.
