Frank Kelleher re-appointed Cobh Ramblers under-19 boss

Cobh Ramblers have announced that Frank Kelleher will remain as the club’s under-19 manager for the upcoming 2019 campaign.

Kelleher will be aided by the coaching team of Ivan Bevan, Eric Higgins, Damien Rowe and Kieran Dunlea as the quintet of experienced heads look to nurture the new up and coming talent at St. Colman’s Park.

Kelleher, heading in to his second year at the club as the academy manager, guided Cork City to women’s FAI Cup success in 2012 before taking a hands-on role with the underage development of schoolboy football in Cork.

Bevan returns to the club having taken up a role with the Rams for the final six games of the 2018 campaign after completing a spell at Cork City Women’s FC.

Also returning to the under-19 set-up at the Rams this year is Eric Higgins. He was part of the under-19 coaching staff at the club last year and is currently applying for his UEFA A License.

Higgins’ return is also supplemented by the return of Damien Rowe to the fold while Kieran Dunlea arrives to the club, with the aim of producing even more first-team players for Stephen Henderson’s first team side.
