Portadown sign former Northern Irish International Marty Bradley

Northern Irish Championship side Portadown have announced the signature of former Northern Ireland Junior International Marty Bradley as the Shamrock Park outfit look to return to the Premiership at the first time of asking.

Bradley, 23, impressed in the Northern Irish amateur game with Immaculata prior to his breakthrough games with the Northern Irish Junior International side in October.

Once of Linfield, now top of the NIFL Premiership, Bradley is a highly regarded midfielder by trade and will undoubtedly be looking to prove himself on the professional stage once more in his native country.

Bradley’s signature is a boost to Portadown’s promotion push as Matthew Tipton looks to secure the club’s instant return back to the top tier.

I’m over the moon to announce that we have signed Marty Bradley from Immaculata.” Tipton said.

“Marty's someone I’ve known from my days as a player at Linfield & when I had different scout reports from amateur league games his name kept coming up as the number one player that we should sign.

“Marty went on to get selected for the NI junior international squad and in my opinion was the stand out player.

“He's been training with us over the last few months & shown what he can offer us. Tough tackling, high energy & a good range of passing that suits our style of play.

“At 23 next week Marty also fits into our model of player that we are looking to bring to the club age wise & also physically & technically.”
