Sean Quinn heads for Tolka Park and signs for Shels

Ian Morris has continued to build his squad for the 2019 First Division campaign by signing midfielder Sean Quinn from UCD.

Quinn who played most of his football in Belfield for the Students’ under 19 side, enjoyed a considerable amount of success during his time with the Dublin four outfit.

Having won the under 19 league in 2016, the Students qualified for the 2017 UEFA Youth League, where despite beating FK Molde 2-1 at the UCD Bowl, Quinn and his teammates would exit after the Students were knocked out on penalties following a 3-3 aggregate scoreline.

Quinn will have a tough battle on his hands to get into the Shels team with the likes of Oscar Brennan and Conan Byrne also joining the midfield ranks at Tolka Park in recent weeks.
