FAI Cup quarter-final between Derry City and Bohemians postponed due to international calls

The FAI Cup quarter-final between Bohemians and Derry City will take place at a later date due to the Candystripes' international call-ups.

The game had been tentatively pencilled in for Friday, September 7th at the Brandywell but has now been pushed back due to under-21 call-ups for unspecified Derry players.

The Foylesiders had games against Dundalk and Cork City postponed in March due to Ireland call-ups for Ronan Curtis (now of Portsmouth) and Rory Hale, and Northern Ireland calls for Jamie McDonagh and Conor McDermott.

The Gypsies will now travel to Scotland that weekend to begin their IRN-Bru Cup campaign against Peterhead on Saturday, September 8th, with kick-off confirmed for 3.30pm.

Friday's league meeting between the two sides, also at the Brandywell, will go ahead as planned.
