Clare teenager Ryan Nolan becomes third Irishman to play for Inter Milan

To Liam Brady and Robbie Keane can now be added the name of Ryan Nolan after the Clare teenager became the third Irishman to play senior football for Internazionale.

The 19-year-old defender made his senior debut as a second-half substitute in the Italian club's pre-season friendly against Swiss side Lugano on Saturday.

Nolan, who moved to Murcia Spain as an eight-year-old and was spotted by Inter academy head Pierluigi Casiraghi in 2015, who convinced him to sign up with Inter.

Yann Karamoh scored a second-half brace after Lautaro Martinez's early strike gave the Nerazzuri a one-goal lead at the break.

Nolan will remain with the senior squad for Wednesday's friendly with Sion and a meeting with Zenit St Petersburg on Saturday.
