The FAI have announced a number of fixture changes in the Women’s National League (WNL).
With the Republic of Ireland U-19 Women’s squad announced for a tournament in England next week, a squad which includes players from Galway Women’s and Peamount United, their WNL upcoming fixture has been postponed for the time being. A new date for this fixture is yet to be confirmed.
Cork City’s fixture against Wexford Youths, which was originally scheduled for Sunday 15 July, will now take place on Saturday 14 July at Bishopstown.
The other fixture change sees the kick off time between UCD Waves and Kilkenny United brought forward by an hour on Sunday 15 July – this will now kick off at 1pm at the UCD Bowl.
This now avoids a clash with the FIFA World Cup final which kicks off at 3pm.
