Larne sign trio to 2018 Deals

NIFL free-spenders Larne have bolstered their ranks ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 campaign as manager Tiernan Lynch has secured the signings of Liam Hassin, Ben Tilney and Andrew Osei-Bonsu.

After impressing in a previous stint at Inver Park for Larne, Liam Hassin, who previously burst onto the scene during the 2016/17 season for the Invers, returns to the club after spell away from the East Antrim outfit last season at NIFL Premiership side Carrick Rangers.

It was under previous manager David McAlinden where Hassin got his first opportunity at senior football in Northern Ireland and Hassin will undoubtedly be looking to realise his potential at the Inver Park side during this upcoming campaign.

In addition to this, Ben Tilney also joins the club after a spell with recently relegated League One side MK Dons.

Tilney, 21, made his debut for the Dons back in August 2016 where he announced his arrival in the grand manner with a stunning 25-yard strike against Newport County.

Since then, Tilney was shipped out on loan to non-league side Brackley Town before the Englishman returned to the fold at Stadium MK as he was granted a brief opportunity at left-back in a dark year for the controversial club from Milton Keynes.

And finally, fellow former MK Dons youngster Andrew Osei-Bonsu also joins the club on a one-year deal after the 19-year-old English born midfielder had a spell at non-league Dunstable Town last season.

Osei-Bonsu and fellow new signing Ben Tilney both crossed the same paths before as the young duo made their professional bows in the same game.

It is expected that Osei-Bonsu will help bolster options in the Larne midfield as they look set to realise their hopeful ambitions during the 2018/19 season in the NIFL Championship.
