The FAI have this morning released a statement to say that all SSE Airtricity League games scheduled to take place between Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd of March are being closely monitored due to the adverse weather conditions and the Status Red weather warning issued by Met Eireann overnight for the coming days.


The situation will be monitored closely over the next 24 hours and the FAI will be working closely with each of the clubs to establish the latest condition of pitches, safety around the stadiums and club facilities.


A statement will be issued by the League authorities to notify supporters should any decision be made the postpone fixtures.
